Even though sustainable building has been my area of expertise for decades, I can imagine how easy it is to get overwhelmed by the flood of building solutions promising everything and changing quickly overtime. My aim is to guide you through the jungle and empower you to make informed decisions.  

It doesn't matter what is your motivation - climate change, the quality of the air you breathe,... or just your energy bill, sustainable building makes sense for anyone in each situation.  

"Sustainability" is not an add-on, it plays a role from the earliest design stages. Therefore, I advise to start with this consultancy as early as possible in your project  – ideally before your project begins. My aim is to maximize sustainable benefits through a better preparation, to help you live in a more comfortable, economical and healthy home.

We will look at where this new home fits in your (family) situation, short-and long term goals, risks and opportunities, how to optimize the layout, which construction type and building materials make sense, which aspects are important for the construction phase, but also what is important for your home's maintenance and long term livability.  

There are many levels of construction and design options, from conventional to more natural building methods and materials. There are thousands of large and small decisions to be made before and during a project. This may lead to decision fatigue, where the danger of settling for compromises kicks in. Pointing out the risk areas in the workbook, and eventual follow up sessions, I help you to mitigate those risks.

What You’ll Get:

90‑Minute Session
We will go through your short and long term goals, your motivations, concerns, and any questions you have. We will discuss which options exist, how they match with your wishes, and translate this into a clear, realistic strategy.

Personalized Workbook
Within 5 working days you will receive a document with the strategy written down. It will include a step‑by‑step roadmap, checklists, recommendations, contacts and practical tips, and/or other relevant documentation personalized to your situation. 

Additional Support according to your needs. You can combine separate services in addition to the basic package. This support may include additional consultancy sessions, small research tasks and property reviews. A property review is a written report based on the documentation you provide me with (real estate advertisement and any other documentation). It discusses pros and cons, what should be checked, which questions should be answered, how this matches your goals etc. Each additional support item can be purchased at 900 CZK/item.

Within a day I will reach out to you to schedule the 90-min session. The session can be in person at a location of your preference in Prague, or online.

  • Build Basic
    90min Session + Personalised Workbook
    Investment: 3800 CZK
    This is for you if you're planning, or consider starting to plan, a construction or renovation project in the next years. 
    It is also can be used, if you're currently involved in a construction or renovation project, and would like to have a second opinion or an extra pair of eyes on certain topics.

  • Build Comfort
    90min Session + Personalised Workbook + 4 Additional Services of your choice, combined as suits you best, which can be used up to 15 months after purchasing the package.  
    Investment: 6400 CZK
    This is for you if soon you want to start your project, and want to take concrete steps with guidance.

  • Build Intensive
    This is for you if you want to have ongoing support, from before the planning phase, over the construction and follow up phases.
    The scope depends on the complexity, intensity of cooperation, emergency availability in case of questions during the project etc., and especially your preferences. 
    Best is to start with a Build Basic or Build Comfort service, during which we can look how to plan our further cooperation. 


FAQ

- What if I ordered a Build Basic/Comfort service, and want to upgrade to the Kickstart Intensive level?
If during the basic/comfort level you decide to move to the Build Intensive level, the amount already paid will be deducted of the Build Intensive amount.

- Can I order a property review without a package?
No, in order to ensure the quality of the personalised advise according to your goals, a property review can be ordered in combination with an initial session (it is possible to add property reviews later on, but only after a 90-min session). 

- Does a property review replace a technical inspection?
No, the property review is based on written documentation, where a technical inspection is an onsite visit checking for technical flaws of the property. In the review I try to catch as many issues as possible, but will also refer to technical and legal professionals where applicable. If there is too little added value I can provide on a certain property, I will let you know, and refund the fee. Reviewing a property with close to no checks to be done and almost no improvements to be made, is a state of architecture and construction I only can support :-).

- Can you join me during a property viewing?
I would love to, but out of experience I know it is difficult to match time availabilities, especially if it is about fast moving properties. If time is more relaxed, we can see what is possible (transport & time fee applicable).  
If not in person, I can support you by providing a property review. If this is requested at least 48h before your planned viewing, I can provide you feedback about the property - what to pay attention to, which questions to ask,... which will make you more confident and able to spot potential issues. Or after the viewing, also based on the questions you may have. 

- Are you a real estate agent/financial advisor/lawyer/licenced architect?
No, I'm not. My added value is my local, technical, process experience and holistic approach, and my focus on your needs, as a neutral person, without other interests such as a commission. As part of the strategy I can refer you to which professions are applicable in which case and at which moment in the process. If you're not sure whether my services would benefit you, don't hesitate to contact me to describe your situation, and I'll let you know. 

- In which languages are these services available?
These services can be provided in English, Czech and Dutch.
